- Characters are often in danger but there's never any serious threat or harm, thanks mainly to the film's fun tone.
- Slightly darker than the first film, but still pretty family friendly.
- There are slightly intense scenes in the film.
- The duplo monster screams in s loud, high-pitched way.
- In a heated argument, Emmett says "The real Lucy would never say that!". This quote may upset some viewers.
Spoilers
Violence & Gore
- When Emmet and Rex are fighting, Rex pounds on Emmet so hard that his legs slightly come off. They reassemble after Lucy comes to stop Rex.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The Our-Mom-Aggedon scene can be really intense and emotional for viewers. The characters are sucked into the black void and put into storage. They manage to get out using spaceships.
- The sad ending is very upsetting, but Lucy interrupted in order to get the "happy ending".
