The start of the 5th season was very promising but modern family has really gone down since then, this episode contained one minor joke that wasn't that funny. The hundreds of story lines introduced were abandoned. The Haley-Andy storyline was a welcome change and the part I most enjoyed. It was a welcome change from the old Haley, I enjoyed seeing her change and mature into appreciating kindness and putting other's feelings first.. But even this, the writers left at an unsatisfying ending. I forgot the argument between cam's parents and found I couldn't care less whether they got back together. The writers are also milking the gay theme making Cam and Mitchell act in silly manners at any opportunities. In this episode Luke and Manny were not given much screen time, making the episode seem a little more mature. After the much better start to the season, I was left a little disappointed by this episode and was left wondering where the family can go from here.
