I wasnt the biggest fan of the fourth one honestly and 3 was ok at best, so I can tell you i was pleasantly surprised with this one. It has its own personality. The lack of original factors, in the scare departments, prevents this from being a 10, but i still loved it. All the great characters AND villains from the first 2 movies are here.
I also like that it deals with the psychological consequences of the first 2 movies. So dont listen to the haters, if you are a fan of this franchise you will love this one!
(There is one particular scene that was REALLY effective and scary and claustrophobic You ll know when you see it. The whole audience was scared, i loved it)
