Mister Nobody

A minor but entertaining comedy by Christian-Jaque based on a novel by Marcel Allain;Allain was part of the famous Souvestre/Allain team who wrote the Fantomas saga ,transferred to the screen by Louis Feuillade and others .

"Monsieur Personne" is closer to Maurice Leblanc's Arsene Lupin,a character Jules Berry also portrayed;Leblanc's novels are,IMHO ,much superior to Souvestre -Allain's.But a good sense of humor and Jules Berry's presence make the whole thing worthwhile:the scene of the theft in the chic reception and how Monsieur Personne (=Nobody)gets away with it with the unintentional help from the police is good fun.
