Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you

Warning: Spoilers
A lot of fun here, to make up for the seriousness of last episode! From the first meeting in SGC to the encounter with Martin-the-conspiracy-nuts, to the gradual discovery that he is not just any conspiracy nuts, the episode manages to keep its pace and humorous tone, never taking itself seriously. Besides the main plot, which is already great in itself, every scene is filled with funny little moments and careful details. (And now you know what to give a Jaffa for his next birthday: a massage bed!)

Granted, the plot is not as unpredictable as it wishes it were, but this is not an episode for thinking and guessing; just sit back and enjoy.

Who is this guy?

An interesting concept but lacks in both effects and depth. Fun to see SG1 operate out in the real world and on a fairly "easy" mission. I can totally see Teal'c being a Murray.

The Truth about Martin Lloyd
claudio_carvalho4 July 2016
During a briefing with the SG-1, General Hammond shows an audio from a man called Martin Lloyd that has contacted the SGC showing knowledge of the Stargate program. Jack schedules a meeting with Martin in a cafeteria while Teal'c, Sam and Daniel use surveillance equipment to monitor him. The paranoid man believes he is an alien and has many Conspiracy Theories, and seems to be unbalanced under medication. While Jack and Teal'c pretend to believe his delusions, Sam and Daniel seek out his doctor that has prescribed the medicines. Soon they learn the truth about Martin Lloyd.

"Point of No Return" has a promising storyline but poor screenplay and conclusion. The fate of Martin Lloyd and his friend is simplistic and goes nowhere. My vote is six.
