A must watch

It's an impressive movie. Great young actors and a deep, meaningful message. The title says it all - Life ain't like the movies. I seen it with my kids and they loved it. It's a watch from me.

We need more movies like this. I thought the film had some funny moments and some tearful moments too. I could totally relate to a lot of the scenarios the teen was in. Really enjoyed it.. easily a 9 from me.

Heartfelt flick

I don't watch too many indie films but this one doesn't disappoint. The script is solid and there's plenty of laughs and some emotional parts that really hit home for me. Great to see Paul Bates in this also along with a lot of other skilled upcoming actors. Support this film and watch it.

Coming of Age Movie

This is a great movie about a young man learning about love and loss. The music fits the mood of the story. Can't wait for the soundtrack to be released.

Such a good storyline and the main character really blew me away with his performance. This is something you'd see that the film festivals circuit as i'm surprised it hasn't won as many awards as it should have. Congratulations on the successful release and we will all be looking forward to more films in the near future.

Life ain't like the movies kid! I seen it with my kids and they all loved it. Worth the rent. Deep meaning with plenty of life lessons. Cynda Williams, Paul Bates, Wendell Kinney and Lee Parish Scott all were great in this.

A Meaningful Film

There's films you just watch for fun and then theres movies you watch that really makes you fuzzy inside. This is one of them. In fact there was many moments in this film I could actually relate to when i was a kid. Director and all the actors came through on this one. Well done and I highly recommend to everyone.

Amazing movie

Very shocked that this movie wasn't nominated for an award. This was a very impressive movie. The actors were engaging specially Shirley Mallett. Her role really had me drawn into her character. The plot was deep and rich with content for all audiences. The messages had me thinking of my own life circumstances. Looking forward to more incredible movies with Shirley presence. Pay attention to the underling dialogue in the beginning it will give you clues to how the movie will turn out towards the end. Hopefully we will see more storylines like this as I worked for the entertainment industry for years and I can recognize good quality content.
