Its good but I don't like the ending.
On the one hand, this show is fantastic. On the other, I don't recommend it.

Plot - This story starts off strong. Rokka and Hazuki have very good chemistry and its entertaining to see them fall in love while Shimao tries to interfere. This all goes downhill after Hazuki inexplicably leaves, then gets drunk enough to allow the ghost to borrow his body. The only somewhat logical reason why he does this is because of the plot. Once you get to this part, I'd recommend switching off. That being said, this show is consistent in its fantastic writing other than that incredibly stupid plot device. This is a romance/drama/fantasy, and succeeds at all three.

Characters - There are like 4 characters in this show. They are all pretty well-written, except for Shimao. Though Shimao is also technically well written, he is one of the most unlikeable characters I have ever seen. I'm pretty sure that the screenwriters were trying to make him sympathetic, but he is impossibly selfish and mean and manipulative and he takes up way too much screen time. If he was barely in it, or never got control of Hazuki's body, then this show would be so much better.

Animation - The animation in this show is absolutely beautiful and at some times impressive. There are some sequences that seem to only be there to show off the animator's talent at animating light, shadow, and people walking with their feet in frame. This show is nice to look at and has a variety of different art styles.

Sound - The voice acting is ok, I guess. The music isn't very memorable, and neither is the sound effects.

Warning: Spoilers
I hated that the fact that the husband had to say an official goodbye before he went up to heaven. It nearly me cry but the same time for me watching this anime, it was emotional.

The only thing I was not happy about from this anime was Hazuki getting a haircut because of the husband wanting him to have clean cut while swapping his own soul for Hazuki's borrowed body. C'mon man leave his hair alone! He honestly looked so much better having his hair a bit long than a bad cut short hair.

I still would recommend this anime to everyone who wants a good cry and get the realistic feel of what it's like to lose your partner.

Time to say goodbye

Warning: Spoilers
A bittersweet story about life, love, and death. A young widow tries to learn how to live in full again after the untimely departure of her husband. A young man falls in love with her. But there is a third party between them, and it's not just a memory - a ghost of the husband cannot leave his beloved behind. It's a beautifully animated picture, where reality is intervened with mythopoetic tropes of fair tales. Suspense is slowly building itself through the eleven episodes, and till the very end you don't know what will happen. But, thankfully, wisdom prevails upon the selfish desire of possession, and life is left for living.

What promised to be a great premise in the first few episodes just turned into some weird fantasy like anime and very confusing Was the creator taking some sort of drug?

I was confused half the time and then because very uninterested by the end.

As it's already an established anime (yes it's older) I knew all episodes were available to me for viewing so gotta admit - I just skipped past the scenes where the MC was in this fantasy land The ending? Why show us that? I wanted to see something else like the other two reviewers said. Won't go into detail but yeah, if you want to watch then skip the fantasy world parts and go to the end.
