"Suits" gets some range.

Warning: Spoilers
"Suits" has been around for four years. The characters have been developed well, and certain backstories have furthered them. Some are complaining about the new story arcs. but here's the thing: you can't just do the same thing(s) over again and expect it to stay fresh. 1. Harvey's new medical "condition" gives Gabriel Macht a chance to show some more range, especially when dealing with someone who's (likely?) his medical equivalent. She provides some pushback that Harvey isn't used to. 2. Some aren't impressed by Soloff's presence. What's his (actual) beef with Harvey? We don't really know yet. Guess what? That's okay! Some things we don't need to know right away. 3. The power struggle between Robert and Mike seems a little... "meh". Name partner and a junior associate? If it was any other JA, Jessica wouldn't care how Robert treated them. 4. People who feel Donna's departure is already old news don't quite get the bond she had with Harvey. "I can't be me without her", and "to me they're the same thing". I do like Gretchen, though I can't decide if her immediate competency was too much of an easy fix. I think they could have brought in some B-players first to really mess with Harvey (think "Entourage" when Lloyd temporarily quit).

I'm loving each and every moment of how Suits is shaping up to be .

Especially since the focus is on Harvey now , and he was deemed as someone perfect .

~ There's always this thing, this practical theory.

Most people who pick up with you want your attention or want to bring you down coz you're in the up place.

Collude with them, make them comfortable and they see this as a better option.

Better to rise with someone than to drag them down to your level.

Though it didn't work with Jack .

~Robert is an alpha , and mike has to make his spot You don't make a spot by asking for it.

He deliberately called mike his associate and Jessica did poke the bear knowingly that zane would never acknowledge mike as the same level as him.

Never Tip toe around, you say it and on top of that you show it .

PS : Finally Mike is there for Harvey . There's this thing about Egoist like Harvey , they never reach out to people , but I'm glad Mike was there at the right time in the right place .

Give That Man an Emmy!

Harvey is having a time with Donna's absence and we continue things here, as that guy who is trying to restructure the methods of payment, is getting on his nerves. He is a nasty, cruel character, and probably, down the line, will have a big price to pay. Mike begins to work with Zane, Rachel's father, and is stabbed in the back by him. They begin as partners and the older guy takes over, to the disadvantage of the clients. Harvey still hasn't solved his anxiety attacks and still is able to function most of the time. Mike saves Zane's bacon at one point but he is dealing with huge bouts of arrogance.

Good but could be much better

Overall I mainly enjoyed this episode but there were sections that I felt weren't as good.

The Donna leaving plot is starting to tire for me. At first it provided a twist but now it seems people are just arguing over her and she is left complaining and angry - given less time to show off the Donna 'charm' that makes her such a likable character. I also don't like the panic attacks and the fact Harvey is seeing a therapist, I feel this adds nothing to the show and seems out of character for me. This along with the fact that Harvey was on the receiving end of others plots' made his character less interesting than before - he also seems to have more angry moments towards people, which is fine and part of his personality but feels overused recently. The new character Jack is forgettable and doesn't seem to have a big enough reason to chase after Harvey.

The parts I did like was the 'power struggle' (for lack of a better term) between Robert and Mike, this was enjoyable to watch and showed how much Mike had progressed as a lawyer. The growing relationship between Rachael and Jessica also made sense and showed potential. Also, I thought the penultimate scene in the courtroom was fantastic and great watching.
