Debut Screening
KNT-2828 May 2017
I was fortunate to have seen the film's debut. Having spent time in combat, this film was very accurate in recreating the experience many of us had lived through. Rumor is this film will develop into a series for one of the streaming services. I hope that is true. The performance by the lead T.D. Russell was fantastic and true. I hope he continues with the production in series form.

I saw the preview in New Mexico to support independent film productions, and was pleasantly surprised. An action packed film, with a run time of less than an hour...perfect for television. Word is, a series may result. I Look forward to it. The film was well cast. The lead who played the Seal Team survivor has a lot of range....I didn't recognize him from other work, but expect he will find much work. The director kept it real...not over done like many war productions. The dramatic scenes touched home.

I enjoyed this film....well conceived, well executed, and realistically performed. With a run time of just under an hour, I was left wanting more, but was more than satisfied. Apparently, the film was sort of a teaser pilot for a series being discussed, which would be interesting, especially with a focus on the soldier's life upon returning home. A dramatic subject, many survivors of today's world conflicts can relate to. I look forward to a series development.

Gripping Drama.
Evi-TC16 June 2017
This film examines the soldier/survivor experience post deployment. The war scenes were orchestrated well and kept my attention throughout, but this film is so much more. The director did a magnificent job drawing us into the character's experience abroad, but her approach to the experience once home was so much more. I was moved by the lead character played by T.D. Russell. Not only was he able to play a fearless Seal with so much honor, but he brought such a vulnerability to the character once home, that we empathize with him so much that I was moved. As I understand it now, this film was a pilot project for a series. I look forward to it and hope the lead, TD Russell will continue with the project. Check out a few of his clips on IMDb.

Gripping story....
What can I say....I am a huge fan of military dramas that tell the story of American heroes. We owe so much to our soldiers. This film does a remarkable job in a short period of time, just under an hour, at developing the lead character played believably well by actor Tim Russell. It cannot be easy for a soldier who lost so much to come home and cope with the simplest of daily tasks that we take for granted. The director did an amazing job bringing this truth home.
