Great ending.

So now we have a real happy ending where everything is in its own place. If you had any questions about what is going to be next, now it's time to say stop. You'll get a real strong final where every character will get what he deserves and you'll be happy for them.

Wow!!

One of the most magical and beautiful pieces of TV I've ever watched. The whole cast were magnificent. John Malkovich, Silvio Orlando and Jude Law were simply mesmerising. I will miss it but I hope this is the end. It was perfect. Perfetto.

The end of a Masterpiece
amirmohsen-025038 February 2020
The final Episode was very fast-paced and superficial. I wish Lenny and John got more involved and deeper in their relationships.Overall I am saddened that it is over and the last minute of this episode was so beautiful. I'll never forget this series.

Words are a poor vehicle to express the profundity of this series.

The range of Jude Law is staggering in scope. He brings a presence to the role that few could achieve...His eyes tell a thousand stories while he tells you one.

The imagery is actually moving in its beauty and execution. Paolo Sorrentino, the Director, sets a bar with this series. If you are a Christian ( I am not) Although I was raised Roman Catholic, You are stirred by the imagery. This series is a must watch for those that appreciate a well made TV series...I give it a 10 despite it's faults or foibles, It deserves the highest of praise...As others have said; it is a work of art; nearly as profound as the Pietà...

Best series in years

This is a masterpiece, the acting and music is manufactured in such perfection that's out of the scale.

Again one of the best series ever seen !

The end is here

Warning: Spoilers
The New Pope was a disaster from the very 1st episode. Looong, boring without anything except great picture. From the episode 7 it had a little intrigue - who will be the Pope: Lenny or Brannox. And what is the end? It's a total nonsense without a piece of logic in it. The Young Pope was full of irony, misery, undercarpet political games. It was like life - unpredictable and had all of your attention, you were guessing what will happen next. The New Pope appeared to be poor copy, pale as the Malkovich face and immobile as Lenny till the 7th episode. Nothing worse our attention has happened but the extremely great and beautiful picture. And thanks God this is the End

the reward

Warning: Spoilers
It was not the serie who you expect. Too cold, boring, superficial, full of mistakes and chaotic, the image being the only tool for fix part of bad things. But the end is a resonable reward after a long expectation. Sure, conventional. Sure, superficial. But with few real good points saving all. Jude Law is the Pope and the tries to innovate are stupid in this case. John Malkovich gives, very late, a reasonable character in the two speeches of the episode. And the victory of the Cardinal Voiello and the scene with little Pius represents a good point and a nice consolation. I admitt, I expect the new serie. Trusting than Silvio Orlando is the best choice as Paul VII / John XXIV. And with high hope to not be introduced a new John Brannox ( a pope Guttierez or Aguirre are more indicated in case of crisis ).
