A nice journey.

I enjoyed very much this excursion in the Swiss Jura: beautiful snowy landscapes and nice encounters.

There are some interesting aspects of the region: the connection of the people with the nature (the geobiologist Joëlle, the childhood in the nature, the menhirs of Clendy- 45 statues near the Neuchâtel lake-, Julien and his walks in the forest, the "Salamandre" magazine, the great egret in the nature reserve of Fanel, the protection of the nature), the watchmaking at La Chaux-de-Fonds, the Golden Bridge watch of the Corum Company, the enamaler Vanessa Lecci, the watch as work of art, the architect Denis Clerc and the architecture in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the "Ancien Manège" built in 1868, the workshops of the watchmakers) , La Brévine-the Siberia of Switzerland- ( Martine Rebetez and the monitoring of the climate, Jean-Claude and the building of an igloo and the eating of a fondue, Jean-Pierre Schneider and the maintenance of the cross-country skiing tracks, the good place of the cross-country skiing) , the people and their animals ( Evelyne Gaze and the roller dog sledges-therapeutical use of the dogs-, Adrien Catin and his horse and carriage tours, Christian Lecomte and the breeding of American bisons- the forest cabins and the tasting of bison meat-) , the chocolatiers ( Valérie and the making of chocolate with flowers and herbs-wild thyme-, the delivery to her daughter Maude-the Bar à chocolat "Crème renversante" and the laces on the chocolates, the story of Philippe Suchard, Catherine and her chocolate workshops-the risotto with white chocolate, the chocolate with dried Boletus-) and the story of the absinthe in the Val de Travers, (Philippe Martin and the making of absinthe with common wormwood, anise and fennel, François Bezençon and the Musée "Père François", the prohibition from 1910 to 2005, Philippe and his friends tasting absinthe, the ceramist Patricia and the "fontaines à absinthe").

I enjoyd the encounters of Sophie with the photographer Jean-François Robert, with the biplane pilot Patrick Guern, with the female guide of the Maison Blanche, with the cheese maker Pierre-Alain Sterchi, with the train conducter Olivier Luder, with the model train maker Alan Stocker, with the musher Caroline Clerc and Morgan Clerc, with Marlène Pini and Gérard Balanche, with Vincent Steuder and Sébastien Bilquez in Neuchâtel, with Claude Delley and his son at Portalban, with the chef Béat Keusen, with Damaris Lauper and Claudia Burri at Bern and with Annelise Cavin at Yverdon-les-Bains; nice encounters with very kind Swiss men and women.
