- A few minor moments of intensity during key scenes. several characters die, though for the most part it is off screen or cuts away.
- The most intense scene takes place late in the film as a man leans over a bubbling well. A monster jumps up and burns his face. The scene cuts away and we hear him scream, and when it comes back, the right half of his face has been melted off. Nothing extremely gory, but somewhat disturbing.

- Melanie's death scene in the burning car is very disturbing and comes out of nowhere. You already feel bad for her since the house already traumatized her and then she get a very overkill death.
